SX460 is an automatic half-wave voltage-driven voltage regulator (AVR) and is part of the excitation system for brushless generators. In addition to regulating the generator voltage, the AVR circuit includes speed and sensitivity loss protection features. The excitation power is derived directly from the generator terminals. The positive voltage accumulated by residual levels is ensured by the use of "effcient" semiconductors in the AVR's power circuit. Equipped with a trimmer to remotely adjust the voltage allowing the user / installer to adjust the generator voltage output.
